Burnley are closing on a deal to sign Huddersfield striker Nahki Wells, Sky sources understand.
The Clarets are understood to be looking for a player with a different profile to their existing crop of strikers.
Manager Sean Dyche saw Andre Gray depart for Watford earlier this summer but has strengthened in attack with the acquisitions Chris Wood and Jonathan Walters.
Earlier this summer, Huddersfield boss David Wagner admitted he was open to offers for Wells who scored 10 goals in their promotion season.
The 27-year-old is currently recovering from ankle surgery and has slipped down the pecking order at Huddersfield following the signing of Steve Mounie.
Bermuda international Wells joined Huddersfield from Bradford three-and-a-half years ago.
