Mark Warburton says he is only interested in players who want to play for Rangers following the news Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan is closing in on a move to Celtic.
The Ibrox boss was keen on adding the 23-year-old to his squad, but saw three bids – the last of which was £300,000 – turned down by their Championship rivals.
Allan, who grew up as a Rangers supporter, handed in a transfer request in July in an attempt to force through a move to Rangers but Hibs remained firm in their stance that he would not be sold to a rival Championship club.
But with Celtic in the Premiership, Hibs have decided to accept an offer of £275,000 from the Hoops plus former Easter Road loanee Dylan McGeouch on a permanent deal as well as another midfielder, Liam Henderson, on loan.
With Allan now set to undergo a medical ahead of the move to Celtic Park, Warburton has made it clear he is ready to move on from the transfer saga.
"We only want players here who want to play for Rangers,” said the former Brentford manager.
"I wish any player well, but right now my only focus is making sure we secure those players with that mind-set, who want to be here.
"He is not my player and it's not for me to talk about it."
