Brazil midfielder Oscar became the seventh most expensive player in football history after his £60m move from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG.

The 25-year-old will reportedly earn £350,000 a week and joins former team-mate Ramires in China - who made a £25m switch from Stamford Bridge to Super League club JS Suning in January last year.

Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel will join Pato at TJ Quanjian after signing from Russian club Zenit St Petersburg on a reported £300,000-a-week salary.

Juventus were believed to be interested in signing the 28-year-old, who has 78 international caps, and will be managed by former Italy international Fabio Cannavaro at his new club.

The midfielder swapped Newcastle United for Beijing Enterprises Group FC in February 2017, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal.

After 10 years and 374 appearances for Chelsea, Mikel decided to join Tianjin TEDA in January, with the defensive midfielder saying that it was "time for me to say goodbye".

"As you will know, I haven't featured as much this season as I would have liked, and at 29 I still have many years in the game ahead of me," the Nigerian said in a statement. "With this in mind, I feel now is the time to seek a new challenge."
