Manchester City continued their summer spending spree by adding Fulham midfielder Patrick Roberts to their ranks, but what do we know about the 18-year-old?

City completed their third signing in the past five days as Roberts completed his move to the Etihad on Sunday morning.

Sky Sports News HQ understand the final transfer fee could end up costing City £11m as he joins fellow England stars Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph at the club in a further move to boost their homegrown ranks, but what do we know about Roberts?

Well, Roberts rose to prominence playing for England's youth teams representing his country at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels.

He scored an impressive 14 goals in 31 games and was an integral part of England Under-17's European Championship win.

The teenager was joint top scorer with three goals and was picked in the team of the tournament.

He made his Fulham debut against Manchester City in March 2014 as a second-half substitute in a 5-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

His second and final appearance for the Whites in the Premier League was also as a substitute against Everton.

Altogether, he played a total of 44 minutes in two games for Fulham in the top flight.

He also led the Whites to the 2014 FA Youth Cup final where they lost 7-6 on aggregate to Chelsea.

Roberts got the chance to impress for the west Londoners in the Championship last season.

He played 17 times in the Championship, totalling 356 minutes and played the full 90 minutes once but failed to score all season.
