Mick Schumacher, the 17-year-old son of legend Michael Schumacher, collected two wins in a single day during a Formula 4 meeting in Germany.
Schumacher junior's success behind the wheel comes as his father, a seven-time world F1 champion, continues his rehabilitation at home from head injuries suffered in a skiing accident in December 2013.
Following his win at the Lausitzring, near Dresden, young Schumacher said: "The speed was there, the car was good, everything is okay."
After claiming victory in the first race, which included a mass pile-up involving 11 cars on the first lap, Schumacher managed a second victory in the evening race.
In the drivers' championships, Schumacher's double means he has closed the gap to within 11 points of Australian pacesetter Joey Mawson.
The 20-year-old finished sixth and second in the day's two races, with a third race to be held on Sunday.
Schumacher has three wins in German F4 this season, having also picked up a victory on the opening weekend in April.
