Ken Condon is planning an ambitious autumn campaign for Success Days following three creditable efforts in the spring.
The soft-ground performer is enjoying a summer break after three placed efforts ending with third spot in the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh.
The Qipco Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown in September will be his first major objective, as long as conditions are suitable.
"Success Days is very well. He's probably going to come back for the Irish Champion Stakes in September, ground permitting, and he'll have two if not three runs after that - there is the Champion Stakes and a race in Milan," said Condon, who is based in County Kildare.
"The owner would obviously like him to win a Group One. He's rated 114 so has to improve another bit to do that, but his last two runs have been improved performances.
"If he keeps going in that direction, he may even stay in training next year. There are a few options in Italy and Germany.
"He's just cantering away at the moment and having a little mid-summer break."
