Jack Hobbs is back in light work after recovering from injury and is to be aimed at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly in October.
Last year's Irish Derby hero could be back in action in September after being sidelined with a stress fracture to his pelvis sustained in the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket in April.
Trainer John Gosden has given an encouraging progress report about the son of Halling, who is owned by Godolphin.
"Jack Hobbs is trotting and moving well, and he is being pointed towards a return in September," Gosden told the Godolphin website.
