Marco Botti is considering potential options in Britain, Ireland and America for Aljazzi after her career-best effort in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The four-year-old, who runs in the colours of Derby winner Authorized, found only the top-class Qemah too good in the mile contest.

Botti said: "She ran a cracking race at Ascot and came out of it really well.

"She's in the Beverly D Stakes next month and we are still discussing whether to take her to America or keep her in Europe.

"I would say Europe would be my preference at the moment. There is a Group Three at Sandown in September (Atalanta Stakes, September 2) and also the Matron Stakes (Leopardstown, September 9).

"She's a filly who likes a bit of time between her races, so the Falmouth Stakes was always going to come too soon.

"I think she's improved as a four-year-old and we've learned that a mile is definitely her best distance."
