Our gallops reporter gets the latest from Philip Hobbs' yard, including an update on Cheltenham winner Defi Du Seuil.

ATIRELARIGO impressed in his work on the steep woodchip gallop at Sandhill and looks one to follow now that his tail is up.

The seven-year-old landed a novice hurdle stylishly at Uttoxeter having competed over both hurdles and fences through the winter.

He travelled and jumped especially well, and the success has given him a confidence boost.

KAYF ADVENTURE takes his chance at Wincanton on Sunday.

This lightly-raced individual was no match for Neon Wolf at Exeter, but after scoring at Fontwell was disappointingly beaten into third in a Sandown handicap.

The six-year-old handles testing conditions and looked in very good order sailing up the main strip on Saturday morning.

HE'S A BULLY can soon pick up a handicap chase having run extremely well on his belated return to the fray at Ludlow.

His career has been hindered by minor issues, but Philip Hobbs appears to have the gelding back firing and he is worth following in three mile handicap chases at the smaller courses.

DEFI DU SEUIL has taken his Triumph Hurdle exertions in his stride and should build on his impressive winning sequence if allowed to take his chance in the equivalent race at Aintree.

He was perhaps the most impressive winner of the entire week at Cheltenham.
