Verdict

The Martin Pipe team have bounced back to form with a vengeance and It Takes Time would have to come into the reckoning if he can banish the memory of his poor effort at Cheltenham last month. He is capable of better than he showed on that occasion and this course should bring out the best in him. Irish Hussar has improved with each completed start over fences but needs cut in the ground to be at his best. So the game Ibis Rochelais is selected as the main danger. He has displayed a good attitude to racing and will not go down without a fight. Lucky Bay is another who should not be underestimated and a better effort from him is expected over this more suitable trip.
