Sao hasn’t won for a while but has slipped to a fair mark as a consequence. Sir Tivo has been on the go for a while but has a good strike-rate over fences. GUNSIGHT RIDGE was keeping better company last winter and had excuses when pulled up in the Grade 3 Red Rum here in April. He can put that run behind him if wind surgery has produced the desired effect. Miss Amelia and Only Money have both been in winning form while Galop De Chasse is only six so should have more to offer this season.

Miss Amelia 5-1 (11-2) Mid-division, went 3rd 6th, pushed along before 2 out, ridden and headway to lead after last, kept on gamely, just held on, won at Perth 2m hcp (3) gd in Jul beating Fearless (10-9) by 1/2l, 6 ran.
