Verdict

Party Rock was superbly placed to rattle up a four-timer in the spring but he's 17lb higher than for his last win and will probably struggle to give weight to these. RUACANA is much more interesting as he contested most of the top four-year-old races last season, winning the Grade 1 Finale Hurdle at Chepstow last December. The step up in trip has been overdue and he shouldn't fail through lack of fitness. Moon Dice hasn't won over hurdles for more than two years but Uncle Jimmy went close in a decent handicap at Newton Abbot earlier this month and is preferred to the returning Crowning Jewel and Drum Valley.
