Verdict

A high-class renewal which sees Tea For Two and Smad Place, first and third in a Grade 1 here in April, renew hostilities. Both would have preferred a longer trip, however, while God's Own is possibly better over shorter. Traffic Fluide is an interesting contender as he ran some very good races in defeat last season, though hasn't won since his novice days. Cloudy Dream, second in the Arkle in March, was also runner-up in a Grade 1 novice over track and trip in April and then won at Ayr. He should have even more to offer this season while Oldgrangewood and Shantou Village are other progressive types. BALLYBOLLEY has guaranteed fitness on his side having won a Listed handicap at Market Rasen last month with a bit in hand. A 6lb rise is not excessive and he should go close to following up.
