Verdict

The unbeaten CORINTHIA KNIGHT followed up a winning debut at Lingfield with a seven-length romp at Kempton, despite carrying a penalty. He looks the one to beat in this opener, even though Inviolable Spirit made a winning start at Redcar last month and should make race of it. Frozen Angel was well beaten on his introduction and the newcomers will need to be above average to get the better of the selection though the Hannon yard has a fine record in this and is represented by Tangled, a half-brother to a couple of winners and entered in the Two-Year-old Trophy later in the year along with Global Tango.
