In depth

Verdict

Ropey Guest clearly has the best form having placed in Group 3 and Listed company. He reverts to novice company here but has already had six runs so is obviously vulnerable to less-exposed types. Zafeer was beaten under a length on debut at Yarmouth but the two Hannon runners haven’t shown much in a couple of outings. Cherokee Trail is only the second foal of 1000 Guineas third Moth and Thrill Seeker is out a French Listed winner. We’ll take a chance on Hugo Palmer’s HLAITAN, a 190,000gns yearling who is bred to have more speed than the majority of these.
