The progressive Walk On Walter has been raised a further 5lb having won four of his last five starts on the all-weather though the front-runner will likely be taken on for the lead by the speedy HABUB (NAP). The latter has made every yard in both outings so far and Owen Burrows’ charge looks to have the makings of a useful sprinter on last month’s five-length romp in novice company at Lingfield. Diamond Dougal beat Equitation at Windsor on his reappearance and ran well again in a higher grade sprint at Ripon last time while both Royal Residence and Louie de Palma will be sharper for comeback runs at Doncaster with the former partnered by William Buick today. Fille De Reve included a course and distance success in last year’s double and returns to action 3lb higher.
