Coasting, Dan Tucket and Solent Ridge catch the eye here with Coasting given the nod to defy a pemalty. Dan Tucket went into many notebooks after an unlucky run last time at Newmarket where he was repeatedly denied a clear run and finished third. He had won his previous outing there and is a pound lower here strangely. He must go well. Solent Ridge was placed twice on the all weather before losing his maiden tag at Chepstow last time. He was well supported that day and can go well off bottom weight. Coasting has run well on all his starts to date, with the exception of a disappointing run in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. His win last time at Goodwood was impressive, coming clear of his field, and a six pound penalty does not look prohibitive. Coasting can continue his winning ways.
