    Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won this three times, including twice with three-year-olds. Gleneagles has been first past the post in eight of his nine career starts. He beat Territories by two and-a-quarter lengths in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May and had Belardo back in fourth when following up in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh. He won the St James's Palace Stakes on the Round Course here at the Royal meeting in June but swerved a clash with Golden Horn at York on account of rain-softened ground and the going will be no better here. SOLOW was always going best when winning the Queen Anne Stakes over course and distance in June and had Gabrial and Belardo behind when landing the odds in the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood. He's won 11 of his last 12 starts, including four Group 1 races this year, and is difficult to oppose. Kodi Bear beat Gabrial in a Group 2 at Goodwood but is held by Territories on the form book while Sandown winner Elm Park still has a lot to prove at this level. Integral hasn't been quite at her best this year while Top Notch Tonto is a little out of his depth.
