Verdict

Lamb Or Cod won at Cheltenham in April 2015 but would prefer faster ground on his reappearance. It was also fast going when MINELLA DADDY won a beginners’ chase at Ffos Las last month but Peter Bowen’s charge acts on all types of ground and is taken to show further improvement over fences today. Ready Token was showing good progress until running poorly in a higher grade at Sedgefield while Horatio Hornblower won at Ffos Las in March under today’s conditional and Mustmeetalady was runner-up in a novice chase at Southwell back in May. Alternatif is more exposed than most of these over fences but is back on a winning mark.
