Notachance is likely to run at Haydock. Regal Encore is a standing dish here and won this race in 2018, placing in both subsequent renewals. He has to concede weight all round but it would be no surprise to see the 12-year-old in the firing-line as he has conditions in his favour. Captain Chaos is almost back on a winning mark and has been showing signs of a revival - he will ensure there is no hanging around. Kapcorse will strip fitter for a run at Newbury and Cobolobo and Yalltari are closely matched on their run together over track and trip last month. Musical Slave was still travelling when unseating his rider at Doncaster but Richard Johnson switches to Jerrysback, third here on his comeback over an inadequate trip. NEWTIDE has only had two runs since winning a Grade 2 at Wetherby as a novice. He’s had wind surgery since the most recent and could go close if the operation has had the desired effect. Hill Sixteen has something to prove now having jumped poorly before pulled up at Haydock in December.
