Verdict

This is a Listed handicap but it's still a bit of a shock to see last year's Irish 1000 Guineas winner Just The Judge facing the start. She was third over 1m1f in a Group 3 at Epsom two weeks ago but was well beaten when tried over this trip at Goodwood last year. Fattsota was only ninth last year off a similar mark and Dick Doughtywylie only beat one home. The Queen's BOLD SNIPER is sure to be popular after a promising reappearance at Newmarket. This will have been his long-term target and, though he's gone up a further 3lb, he gave recent Windsor winner Café Society 9lb and a beating over 1m4f here last July. Contributer has his sights lowered and was fourth in a Group 2 on this day last year while Baltic Knight has a decent chance at the weights and makes more appeal than January's Meydan winner Saxo Jack.
