A competitive renewal but Bielsa has an excellent strike-rate and has been bought by King Power Racing since an impressive success on heavy going at Doncaster in October. Mubakker is even less exposed but he was disappointing on soft going here in the autumn. Tinto won over course and distance in October on an easy surface and quickened clear of Summerghand at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago. Roger Varian’s stable is in red-hot form but Spanish City is probably better over 7f on quicker going. This race has thrown up its fair share of shock results down the years and Hamilton specialist AIR RAID could give supporters a run for their money at big odds. Jedd O’Keeffe’s charge is a bit inconsistent but more than capable when in the mood and is starting to slip down the weights again. Highland Dress is in good form but the handicapper probably has a grip on Soldier's Minute at present.
