      Verdict

      Darebin has made a promising start to his chase career and has yet to finish out of the frame in four runs. He’s been left on the same mark, despite a close-up third last time at Sandown, and dropping back to 2m should aid his cause. He gets 10lb from Catterick winner DIVINE SPEAR but the latter has more scope and the form of his victory has been franked. Exitas won a Listed handicap here last month. He’s 10lb higher now but can be forgiven his latest run, which was over hurdles. Prairie Town went close in a couple of tries over fences last season while I See You Well has been getting closer as he slips down the weights, though may still find a couple of these too good.
