In depth

Verdict

In a fascinating nursery, I'm Smart is nominated ahead of Slate and Jaasoos. Slate created a good impression when scoring at Warwick on his debut and is respected in this intriguing affair. Farley Star showed he was going in the right direction last time with a Folkestone win and we reckon he has a good bit more to come. I'm Right is another unexposed winner who rates as interesting, while Just Dust continues to amaze with his toughness, although he might find one or two too good today. In good hands, you can be sure that we have not seen the best of Artimino yet, while Oi Vay Joe confirmed that he was on the up with a solid second at Newbury last time. Jaasoos is another lightly-raced improver that gets a very solid mention. As we say, it all adds up to an interesting race, with the vote going to I'm Smart, although the betting will probably make for interesting reading.
