In depth

Verdict

Bannister Lane, Martha's Kinsman and Herecomestanley are shortlisted here and we will give another chance to the last mentioned. Herecomestanley was a little disappointing last time when he could finish only second to Cool Roxy. He had previously shaped with plenty of promise and if he can jump more fluently than he did last time then he can regain the winning thread. Bannister Lane has won his last two races in good style but both those wins have come on testing ground and he is not as good on a faster surface. Martha's Kinsman is relatively well-handicapped over fences compared to his hurdles rating and he did well to beat Fill The Bunker at Ludlow last time. He has ground conditions to suit today and should go well. Presenting Express will not be far away granted a clear round but that is far from guaranteed and we will stick with Herecomestanley as our selection as he could represent the value in the race.
