Moonage Daydream came out best of the Hamilton four that reoppose and should go well again whilst last year's winner, Apache Nation, is respected but POKFULHAM looks to have a little more in the locker. The selection was value for more than the neck winning margin on his fourth start for Jim Goldie and may prove capable of defying his 5lb rise in the weights. He's run two of his best races at this track and should be in the mix. Apache Nation has been a regular course winner and isn't too badly treated but his most recent victories have been achieved with cut in the ground and he may need a little rain to fall if he's to repeat last year's success. Moonage Daydream was finishing best of all when ahead of Social Rhythm, Botham and the well-handicapped Woodsley House. The latter could be interesting at a price but is difficult to predict and Moonage Daydream is a more reliable option. Battle Royal is lightly enough raced to believe that he may leave his mark behind in the fullness of time but he still has a bit to prove and preference is for Pokfulham.
