Verdict

Achill Road Boy hasn't had much racing and was having only his third start over fences when scoring over slightly further here last month where he battled on gamely so it's a surprise to see him back over hurdles. Little Bruce had only shown moderate form before landing a Wetherby handicap on Boxing Day in very smooth fashion though he was aided by a rival coming down at the last. He would have won anyway and comes here with a 7lb penalty. Lochalsh has won three times over timber including over slightly shorter here last month and has to be respected while any further rain would aid the cause of Rinnagree Rosie, a winner here on very testing ground. MASSINI'S LADY had shown virtually nothing before a much improved run over 2m3f here last month where she stayed on strongly so she gets the nod with further progress likely. It's almost three years since Seven Summits won and he's still 5lb higher in the weights.
