In depth

Verdict

Kings Gift made a promising start at Redcar when runner-up over today’s trip. He should be thereabouts with normal progress but WIGAN WARRIOR gets another chance. David Brown’s colt gets closer with every start and was beaten only a nose at Haydock last time. Yarmouk is likely to improve but needs to if he’s to figure. American Craftsman, a half-brother to five winners, may prove best of the newcomers.
