In depth

Verdict

It was soft going when Dark Crystal won over track and trip last month beating Vallarta, Jay Kay and Royal Duchess in the process. Major Crispies’ earlier win came in a claimer over 6f and Control Centre has been winning over the same distance this year. But DARK PROFIT scored with plenty in hand over track and trip last month with subsequent runner-up Sea Of Green behind and Keith Dagleish’s charge gets the vote to defy a rise in the weights.
