Verdict

CIRCUS CLOWN finished runner-up to Nelson Du Ronceray, who runs in the previous race, over hurdles at this track in January. He went close again over fences last time and Jim Goldie's charge looks capable of landing this off his current mark. His form looks superior to that of Funky Munky, who has been placed in lesser company of late, while Rudemeister needed a longer trip to open his account over timber at Catterick last time. Aneyeforaneye recorded his victory at Hexham on fast ground, but Radmores Revenge is not without a chance back racing in the mud.
