A P McCoy, who rode the winner of this a year ago, has a busy afternoon ahead of him beginning with STONEBROOK, who can get him off to a successful start. The dual bumper winner made a very encouraging hurdling debut behind a couple of useful novices at Wetherby where he stayed on nicely after being outpaced. He had The Orange Rogue 5l behind in a Carlisle bumper but the latter has looked a promising hurdler and would have gone close here last time but for falling at the last. The front-running Titus Bolt has been a bit unfortunate not to win a handicap but may find the ground too testing so Irish raider Moss Street looks a bigger threat. He's come up against some smart performers in his races to date though he was undoubtedly disappointing on heavy going at Fairyhouse last time. Antrim-based Stuart Crawford loves his raids here so the superbly bred newcomer Alkali is one to note for the future.
