PERFECT SOLDIER won over today’s trip at Musselburgh before beating the re-opposing Lagenda over 7f at the same track. He looks to have every chance with an apprentice’s allowance negating a rise in the weights. Corndavon Lad won over track and trip a fortnight ago and is 5lb higher while Bankawi could go close again having finished runner-up at Beverley last month with Joanna Mason taking 5lb off his back today. Zoravan has finally returned to his last winning mark and is preferred to Van Dijk of the rest.
