Verdict

Tony Tie has plenty going for him here and he is put forward as the one to beat with Stoic Leader and Brief Goodbye the others to consider. The selection was beaten by the draw at Newcastle last time but he had previously won well when beating Stoic Leader by 6l on this track. Stoic Leader is weighted to get closer to the selection but has it all on to reverse the placings, although it would be no surprise to see him chase our selection home. Brief Goodbye sprung a surprise when winning at Newbury last time and he remains on a fair mark so has to be of interest. Another Bottle has won his last two races so is another to consider as he is still improving, but we will side with Tony Tie who is given the vote.
