Verdict

SUNNYSIDE finished ahead of both Snake Charmer and Political Paddy when fourth at Newcastle last month and appreciates a test of stamina. Alexander Voy takes 5lb off the back of Lucy Normile's charge and he could be the one to beat in a race that's probably less competitive than the numbers suggest. Larks Lad is an obvious contender, despite having been raised 4lb for his second at Bangor, though third Stagecoach Opal must have a chance of reversing that form on 3lb better terms. With Jurisdiction and Aibrean likely to need this, the lightly-weighted Aghill may the pick of the remainder back over the smaller obstacles.
