    Verdict

    BROADCASTER looks to have a good opportunity to open his account. A runner-up at Newcastle last time, the winner Lily Rules has since gone close in much better company, and that looks stronger form than Ticking Katie's second at Thirsk. Straight Gin is hard to fancy on his debut fifth in a seller but it's worth keeping an eye on the betting regarding Richard Fahey's newcomer Malraaj.
