In depth

Verdict

Dino Velvet won this in 2018 and has slipped down the weights again this season but struggles to get his head in front nowadays. Iolani won in a higher grade at Musselburgh three weeks ago but a 9lb rise means the nine-year-old is now on a career-high mark. THEATRE LEGEND was successful in this in 2019 and he got back to winning ways at Newcastle last month. He’s been raised 4lb but in-form conditional Oakley Brown claims that back and more and Chris Grant’s charge can prove too strong for the lightly-raced maiden Defining Battle and Wetherby winner Fete Champetre. Torigni may be more effective receiving weight in a higher grade.
