Withdrawn

In depth

Verdict

Fiddlers Bow finally won over fences after 16 attempts when scoring over 2m here on his first start after wind surgery. CALIVIGNY also took his time to win a chase but immediately went in again with last month’s success at Kelso when beating Geronimo, due to run in the previous race. It could pay to stick with Neil Alexander’s charge. Orioninverness has been placed in all three outings since scoring at Perth in September and Well Above Par found one too good at Hexham recently. Hills Of Dubai went close at Haydock before disappointing at the same track while Pookie Pekan was still well beaten despite finishing second at Market Rasen the last twice.
