Verdict

Almagest carried a big weight to victory over 2m at Beverley last time and there may be more to come over this marathon trip. Scatter Dice is another likely to last home though she's found life tough off her current mark over shorter trips this season. Flashman finished ahead of Rocktherunway, Hawk Mountain and Body Language when runner-up at York last time but this can go to Irish raider FACE VALUE. The latter beat the returning Albert Bridge in last year's November Handicap over 2m at Leopardstown and after a better effort on his latest start at Bellewstown, he looks primed to confirm running and go very close.
