Verdict

Anythingtoday has tumbled down the weights in the last year and showed signs of a resurgence when runner-up over 1m4f last time. Never Be Enough went close at Pontefract before struggling at Newcastle while Briardale ended a long losing run when making a winning reappearance at Haydock last month and is 6lb higher. Gworn won this in 2017 but arrives out of sorts and ASIAN ANGEL (NAP) gets the vote. The latter returned to action with a a second at Leicester on his handicap debut and Mark Johnston’s charge can land this with normal progress.
