Airwave who suffered traffic problems in the valuable sales race at Doncaster recently is the TEAMtalk selection in this strong Listed event. Previously the Henry Candy-trained filly put up a decent effort on good to soft at Leicester following an excellent effort when runner-up in an above average maiden auction event at Kempton. If she can enjoy a clear run she should take all the beating. Michael Bell is in good form at present and his Irresistible showed her liking for a soft surface when winning at Newcastle before winning a nursery at York earlier this month. A reproduction of that form should see her go close. The unbeaten Cool Question has been improving with every run though the form of his last win could be dubious due to the slow pace. Gallivant has been slow to come to hand this year but showed her well being when winning at both Beverley and Chester. She will need to improve on those efforts to play a role here and her trainer is slightly out of form. The lightly-race Medeena could prove a dark horse here. She did nothing wrong when winning at Goodwood and looks set to step up on that effort. Golden Nun has chances if she can put her experience from a long campaign to use. She proved herself a filly with a turn of foot when winning at Doncaster though the bare form of that race suggests she will need to improve to land this.
