Verdict

REBEL STATE may have slid far enough down the weights to finally win a handicap. He went close at Musselburgh on his reappearance and can confirm running with Harbour Patrol while Colour Contrast was narrowly beaten over a longer trip at the same track last time and can also figure. Palindrome and Circling Vulture were both placed at Newcastle on their latest starts and Adventureman is another to consider in an open contest.
