In depth

Verdict

A field of seven and it is hard to choose between them. We will go with the forecast outsider Boreana, with Dorn Dancer and She's Minnie put forward as the main dangers. Jedd O'Keeffe's charge was given a rating of 73 following three good efforts in maidens but struggled off that mark. The assessor has been very kind and she has now dropped to 60. Her recent blow out at Pontefract will have done her the world of good and she should be capable of going close in this company. Dorn Dancer has shown good form in two outings this season but may need to drop a few pounds before winning. Meanwhile She's Minnie hasn't been beaten far in two races this season and is weighted to go close again. As I mentioned though anything could win this contest and so it is with little confidence that we put forward Boreana.
