      MISTRESS OF ROME has made steady progress and finished runner-up over C&D last time. Michael Dods' filly handles the surface and gets the vote to open her account in what looks weak maiden. Johnson's Cat is inconsistent with a fourth at Windsor last month his best effort, though Gone By Sunrise and Gibraltar Road are likely to improve on the back of their modest debuts. Bubbly Bounty is related to a winning sprinter and makes more appeal than fellow newcomer Ballroom Blitz.
