In depth

Verdict

Mezuzah gets the confident vote here with Nanton and Compromiznotension rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Dower House with plenty in hand he returns to action before being reassesed and, under similar conditions here, he is hard to oppose. Nanton rates the main danger on his best form but he just gave the impression that the handicaper had caught up with him last time and, at likely odds, he looks worth taking on. Compromiznotension is another worthy of respect but he is best when allowed to dominate and as that does not look likely so he looks worth taking on. Of the remainder, Wigwam Willie will like the ground but disappointed for no apparent reason last time so can not be put forward with any confidence, while Collateral Damage looks weighted up to his best and for the winner we return to Mezuzah who looks ahead of the handicapper.
