In depth

Verdict

Charles Parnell Kings Heir and Halfwaytoparadise look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the narrow vote is given to Charles Parnell. The selection was a fair third behind Cinematic last time out, that form has since been franked and under similar conditions here he is taken to score from what looks a good draw. Kings Heir rates the main danger on his latest third behind Expensive but he just gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Halfwaytoparadise is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Jeanmeire but all his best form is on a faster surface and he looks opposable on that basis. Of the remainder Nautico showed a degree of promise on his debut and is sure to improve and with his yard in top form he could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Charles Parnell.
