In depth

Verdict

Percussionist looks the one to be with in this novices' chase with King Revo and Harmony Brig the pair we fear the most. The selection was a quality performer on the flat and he made a pleasing impression when beating Altay on his chasing debut at Wetherby. He won on the soft that day and there is sure to be more to come and he certainly sets the standard for the rest. King Revo was very useful over hurdles and he has to be of serious interest now that he reverts to the bigger obstacles. However, he has been off the track for over a year and for that reason he may be best watched on this occasion. Harmony Brig is another useful type over hurdles and he will handle these ground conditions so he should not be discounted lightly. It would be a major surprise if Aviation was good enough to get competitive and we will stick with Percussionist as our idea of the winner.
