Verdict

Connections hope a first-time visor will sort out the problems of Giant Slalom but it will need to work wonders if he is to challenge, whilst All Guns Firing has only won on the Fibresand and was a long way behind on reappearance after a summer break. LAURA'S LADY is relatively unexposed and could play a major part if she can handle the testing conditions. We take a chance that she can and given the relatively weak opposition she wouldn't need to find too much to win. Jim Goldie's representatives, Ulysees and Botham, both have course experience to build on and are held on their merits. Ingleby King has dropped to a practical mark so is also worthy of consideration.
