In depth

Verdict

Ikansea was having her first start since October when running well behind Redera at Limerick last week and looks a threat to all despite her big weight. Second Glance is better over fences so this looks between Benefitthewest and UNCLE TAFFY. The former was having only her fifth start when comfortably landing a Sligo handicap on May Day and a 6lb rise isn't too harsh though the ground was very fast that day and she's no certainty to enjoy easier conditions. Uncle Taffy is progressing at a rate of knots and looked to have a favourite's chance in a Cork handicap on Friday. He duly obliged in comfortable fashion and his penalty shouldn't prevent a quick follow-up.
