Verdict

Mark Brisbourne won this last year with a short-priced favourite but Very First Blade is unlikely to attract much support after a poor debut at Wolverhampton. David Evans runs I'm Talking, well beaten on her debut at Warwick, and the speedily-bred newcomer Little Ted, who should do best of the pair with Jimmy Fortune booked. I Dream Of Genie didn't do badly on her Brighton debut but Like Sea Poet, who has run in slightly higher grade, will find THE DANCING LORD a difficult opponent to pass as he made all for a very easy victory at Folkestone and has competed at a much higher level than this subsequently.
