Verdict

Area Access has been in fine form for Charlie Mann but the suspicion handicapper appeared to have caught up with him last time at Newton Abbot. He's been raised another 2lb for that effort and may struggle to give weight away all round. Landestown Pearl was behind Area Access when the pair met at Stratford but suddenly discovered form with a smooth success at Plumpton and he is a leading contender if able to repeat that level, despite a 10lb hike. Pennant Dancer landed a first career success in stylish fashion at Chepstow recently but has also been hit by the handicapper and was due to run at Towcester yesterday. CLUES AND ARROWS was also behind Area Access at Stratford but showed dramatic improvement next time when scoring at Taunton under McCoy. He was clearly suited by the significant step up in trip and can defy a 7lb penalty.
